Located in the shade of Milan's Duomo, STRAF is one of the first avantgarde design hotels, and still a DNA Hotels favorite. Set in a 19th-century palazzo, interiors are a monument to deconstructivist aesthetics.
Rooms come in a light or dark color palette and feature design elements like bare cement floors, oxidized brass, split slate, scratched mirrors, burnished iron, and torn, aged gauze captured between sheets of glass. Some rooms have a massaging armchair.
Guests can start the day with a generous continental buffet breakfast. Open for lunch, the restaurant specialises in Mediterranean and International dishes, along with vegetarian options. The hotel also offers several “relaxation rooms,” which include massage chairs and aromatherapy treatments.
