We arrived to this beautiful Villa in the heart of the Valpolicella wine country. The Villa stood at the top of a hill, magnificently restored and brought back to its old splendor. The staff immediately greeted us and were helpful and the check in procedure were fast and efficient. We then were escorted to our room which was spacious, comfortable, beautifully decorated and rich of amenities. Exploring the hotel and the gardens was the best part. As you move from corridor to common rooms you are surrounded by stunning pieces of modern art and stylish design. The gardens and pool provide plenty of space and areas for relaxation and are well complemented by the luxurious spa. Villa Amista' is the perfect combination of visual excitement and physical regeneration. A great place to enjoy art and indulge.

Living the art

Is it a hotel or a museum? A hotel for sure, that within minutes after my arrival felt as home. After I checked in and admired the room full of original pieces, I went for a stroll through the building and the gardens. Turning corner after corner, I felt Alice exploring a wonderland of art. Paintings, furniture, video art, scribbling on the wall, hardly anything escaped a designer’s hand. If one word should describe it all, it’s contrast. Of colors, of styles, of the old villa and its modern interior. I loved it! Was there nothing to frown upon? The cappuccino – what Italian breakfast could do without? – arrived late and virtually foamless. Otherwise, service was skilled and friendly. They’re offering a very convenient shuttle service to the center of Verona. And they pick you up too, late at night when the opera is finished, to bring you back into their wonderland of beauty. Unlike a museum, you don’t visit the art. In this hotel, you live it!
