25hours Hotel Zurich Langstrasse
The hip 25hours Hotel is located in the equally hip District 4 of Zurich, just a short walk from the main train station. The hotel has an eclectic style: zany bric-a-brac, including model boats, flamenco dancers and giant Duplo bricks, is arranged around the front desk, while truck tarpaulin bags, made by cult Zurich company FREITAG, dangle from the ceiling.
Exposed concrete set against oak and shiny black brickwork forms the blueprint across the rooms, which also feature lurid fade-effect curtains and murals of New York or the jungle. Facilities include an open-plan bathroom, a TV, bluetooth speakers and a Freitag bag to use during the stay.
The Middle Eastern-themed restaurant NENI dishes up a good range of Persian, Arabic, Moroccan, Israeli and Turkish-influenced cuisine. Lively cocktail bar, as well as a 'train spotting sauna'. Bicycles and two Minis are available free-of-charge depending on availability.
