Hygge Hotel is a design hotel located in Brussels' Ixelles (in Dutch Elsene) district, just a few minutes walk from the Avenue Louise. Hygge, a Danish word that denotes the conscious creation of cosy environments in order to cultivate well being has no empty meaning here. The ground floor space with a breakfast room and bar furnished has a typical Scandinavian-style design (soft colours, lots of wood, furs and textiles) that emanate a relaxed, uncluttered sense of ease, given additional depth by the herringbone patterned wooden floor, classical high ceilings and original fireplace. Rooms come with walk-in showers and blue-and-with bathroom tiling that adds personality.
