Located in the foothills of the Apuanian Alps, just a few minutes from the Versilia beaches, Locanda al Colle is a stylish guesthouse set in an ancient farmhouse in which charm and grace create the backdrop for contemporary art works.
Warm, chic rooms feature individual touches such as white, vaulted, wood-beamed ceilings, oak parquet floors, vintage reading chairs, French 19th century cast iron fireplaces, cast iron enamel bath tubs or tubs for tow and 4-poster beds. All come with air conditioning, a minifridge, an iPod dock, and a bathroom clad in local tiles with a bath and/or a rain shower. Some rooms have furnished balconies, while others have terraces and access to the garden.
Free parking is offered and so is the extensive buffet breakfast which features homemade sourdough bread. Three nights per week, dinner is prepared on the property by a chef trained in Michelin starred restaurants. If you wish to take lunch or dinner at the Locanda outside of these special evenings, a plate of cheese and charcuterie for dinner and salad or pasta for lunch are available. Complimentary mineral water, tea, coffee, biscuits and cakes are available during the day, too. Relax in the fashionable lounges, or by the seasonal outdoor saltwater pool. In the grounds there are plenty corners to tuck yourself in if you want privacy and tranquility such as hammocks , big day beds and loungers. From the panoramic terrace and olive grove the sunset will amaze you with its wonderful ever changing colours. Massages, yoga classes, and cooking lessons are offered plus a range of off-site experiences. A 10-minute drive will take you to the Lido di Camaiore, where guests enjoy to a partner beach including gazebo sunbeds, deckchairs and beach towels.
