Oxygen Jungle Villas is a secluded, small luxury resort housing 24 people at the most. The minimalist estate is set on a large plot of protected mountain rainforest where the tree-shrouded Balinese-style villas perch above the sparkling Pacific waters. Guests can watch the mating whales of the Marino Balleno National Park from the infinity pool terrace or spa room.

The glass, climate-controlled villas offer modern, tropical-style décor with Serta mattresses topping the four-poster beds, a seating area, a safe, a minibar, a flatscreen TV, a CD/DVD player (library available) and an iPod dock. From the terrace you can spot toucans and monkeys in the dense jungle or admire the view of the surrounding mountains or the ocean. Beautiful private bathrooms feature a similar Zen atmosphere and come equipped with a rain shower, sinks carved out of river stones from Indonesia and organic bath products featuring fragrances of the tropics: ylang-ylang, coconut and natural honey.

The O2 Restaurant offers breakfast, light lunch and serves a five-course surprise menu each night in its an open-air dining room, overlooking the pool. The kitchen focuses on more European-style dishes. There is no bar, but staff are happy to serve fresh juices, non-alcoholic drinks, spirits, wines, champagne, beers and cocktails.

Surrounded by teak decking, rattan sunloungers and a few large Buddha statues, the stone-lined infinity pool faces the Pacific. There is a dedicated spa room where guest can indulge in massages, body scrubs, or aromatherapy. Yoga pavilion. Staff can arrange activities as canoeing, rafting, hiking, snorkelling, diving, whale watching, surfing lessons, bird watching, canyoning, kayaking, and horseback riding. The hotel has its own private hiking trails leading through the jungle to romantic waterfalls.
