Sea Containers London is a design hotel situated on the South Bank of the River Thames in a former office building. The luxury hotel is a 7-minute walk from the Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. Interiors feature designer Tom Dixon's phenomenal eye for detail with an offbeat palette: banquettes are covered in mimosa-yellow velvet; bedrooms boast grey walls and cranberry-pink throws while metallic finishes ramp up the glamour.
The hotel boasts a riverside restaurant with outdoor seating serving "trans Atlantic" cuisine. Other facilities include the award winning Dandelyan bar from Ryan Chetiyawardana (AKA Mr Lyan), Agua spa, cinema and a rooftop bar with terrace offering panoramic views over London and the Thames.
Rooms features bespoke furniture, a flat-screen HD TV with satellite channels, media panel, air conditioning, dimmable lights and a minibar. The marble bathrooms have a rainfall shower or bath. Many of the rooms feature Thames river views, while superior rooms also have a balcony.
