Aptly named, The Town House is more like someone's private home -impeccably decorated with antiques and modern pieces- rather than a hotel. It is located in the orange blossom-filled old quarter of Marbella, along the Costa del Sol's golden mile. The beachfront promenade is a few minutes walk. Surrounding The Town House are numerous restaurants, (tapas) bars and upscale shopping.
The nine bright classic-Scandinavian inspired rooms are carefully furnished and decorated in shades of cream and white. All feature marble floors, TV and DVD player. The elegant Andalusian tiled bathrooms come with a shower or tub, hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. iPod docking stations can be requested from the reception. Three of the rooms can be set as twin rooms.
The Town House serves a continental breakfast in its welcoming bar/lounge which has a wonderful summer terrace outside the building. One of the best features of the house is the pretty roof terrace. Covered in cream cushions and featuring discreet speakers wafting out old ambient Ibiza classics, it's a relaxing area in which to escape the hurly-burly of summertime midday Marbella, or to enjoy late-night drinks looking out across the moonlit terracotta-tiled rooftops.
