Fantastic stay here....the hotel is within an old ancestral city palace. A beautiful building in Galician style with glazed-in "galerias" (balconies). Our room was spacious including the marbled bathroom. We liked the wooden floors, cowskin rug and the carefully chosen Vitra furniture and lamps. Plus two galerias as we had a corner room. The whole place has a minimalist feeling to it, yet warm. Opposite is the Plaza de Abastos, one of Spain's largest markets. And the cathedral is just a few minutes walk. The all-white restaurant downstairs serves Galician specialties where we had an excellent lunch there. Breakfast was great too. Super staff, very friendly and helpful. Highly, highly recommended. Can't wait to go back!
