Avalon Hotel Palm Springs
Once the Estrella Hotel (and more recently The Viceroy), The Avalon Palm Springs has seen it all, from Joan Crawford and Errol Flynn to American presidents and one king. The hotel is built in a Spanish hacienda-style with tile roofs and whitewashed stucco and featuring a stylish interior, with a modern take on Hollywood Regency in a smart contemporary palette of blacks, whites and yellows.
The elegant and luxurious rooms feature patios or balconies overlooking the gardens and feature Italian linens and robes. One- and two-bedroom villas come with outdoor banquette seating, and parlor rooms sleep four to six.
The hotel's three courtyards all center around the heated pool, and are surrounded by manicured gardens and citrus trees. Each pool area is served by the hotel’s restaurant and bar. Full-service spa and fitness centre.
