The DNA: The former "leather gentlemen's" hotel The Black Tulip on the edge of the Red Light District nowadays is a stylish guesthouse for individual travellers. The underground atmopshere has gone, but some of the dark touches like the iron cages remain. Top rated on the TripAdvisor for many years in a row, tis is definitely a place for individualists. Mauro Mansion's website has a "no thanks, not for me" or "yes please, continue" opening page which tells you what kind of place this is.
