Masseria Trapanà is a small design hotel set in a 16th-century farmhouse in the Puglian countryside, just outside the baroque city of Lecce.
There are eight stylish suites and one room connecting the outside with the inside. Facilities include a satellite television (Sky), a Bose sound system, USB points, White Company room fragrances, free bottled water, air-conditioning, working fireplaces and underfloor heating, and blackout curtains. Bathrooms come with a hair dryer and complimentary Aesop toiletries. The suites have a private, walled patio with an al-fresco bath (one a shower).
The masseria is surrounded by six hectares of different gardens, including fuit and nuts gardens, a yoga garden and a games garden with petanque and croquet. Laze by the large saltwater swimming pool one one of the sun loungers or in the hammocks under the plum trees.
A breakfast is served in the masseria's kitchen or on the terrace. Lunch and dinner are available daily, consisting of Puglian cuisine made of fresh produce, mostly from the own gardens. A poolside service is availble during the day. Limited room service. Although there is not a destination bar, drinks can be ordered to enjoy in the lounge or in the gardens.
Other activities include a spa treatment room, personal trainer, and cooking classes.
